GOLF

Bermagui Country Club is a great place for golf and the perfect place to base yourself for visits to the neighbouring golf courses of Narooma, Bega, Tura Beach, Tathra and Merimbula

FISHING

Bermagui has fantastic fishing. Made famous as a game fishing port in the 1930s - the continental shelf is just 20km off shore, the closest point along the Eastern Seaboard to the Australian mainland. Warm northerly currents flow very close to the shore bringing an abundance of all types of fish close to the coast. Big game or deep sea and reef fishing boat charters are available. Or you can hire or launch your own boat or simply find a shore-side spot and throw in a line.

WHALE WATCHING

Whale watching tours are available from Bermagui harbour. Humpbacks and Southern Right Whales can be sighted on their northern migration during May to July, and during August and September humpbacks can be sighted feeding. From late September to late November we see the mothers bringing their new calves back down the coast.
